We are into October and the temperatures are falling but our harvested vegetable for food banks get bigger each week.

Today was the Baie-D-Urfé Fall Environment Day and the people from the Garden at Fritz held the end of season weigh-in of the competition pumpkins … the winner came in at 150 lbs !! Hover over the thumbnails below to see captions – click on any one to see it in full size

Thanks to the 10 volunteers at today’s harvest including these 3 IB program students from St Thomas and Isabelle’s two daughters! Approximately 250 – 300 pounds of tomatoes were picked for the food banks today alone!
